It's been awhile since we've posted progress on the Tyler Community Garden. So here's to making up for lost time!
Friday, December 9th, about 20 people showed up at the garden to dig up some of the intrusive vegetation that thought it could take hold. There was a lot to do!! Between raking out leaves in the beds and walkways, thinning carrots, and lettuce and cutting out trees that thought they might get a hold, we got a lot done in 1.5 hours. Usually we only work for one hour, but all the helpers were willing to stay longer! THANK YOU!!
Please remember that the garden is open to anyone who would like the emotional, social, physical, and spiritual benefits! If you want to know times that someone will be there, please text 435-632-6733. But anyone can come at anytime and work on weeds.
